Absolute Engineering, LLC was formed in October of 2002 by Mitch Crowe and is located in Kennewick, Washington. |E| was created to better serve the public, private, and government sectors. We serve the entire Pacific Northwest and specialize in serving the remote areas of Southwest Washington, Southeast and Central Oregon, and Idaho. We are currently on the Oregon University System list of approved engineers. We have also branched out nationally by serving Illinois, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Nevada, and Louisiana.

Our personnel bring with them vast experience in many different areas of engineering which shows in the review of the resume section. With Mitch, additional office personnel include Bob DePoe (Construction Manager), Jeff Horlacher (Mechanical Designer), and Jensen Horlacher (Drafter). Mitch Crowe is a licensed Professional Engineer in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Illinois, Wisconsin, Nevada, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

Both Mitch and Bob DePoe have contractor experience. They worked at Foster Sheet Metal, then opened Blue Sage Corporation. During their time at Blue Sage, they received letters of recommendation from Chevron Chemical for their work during Chevron's annual shutdowns. In addition to Bob's construction experience, he also has experience as a Washington State Boiler Inspector and many years as an Owner's representative in elementary, secondary and higher education facilities.

Our hands-on construction experience gives us an edge in designing HVAC systems and other mechanical and electrical systems that make sense to the contractor. When the contractor understands the documents and what is required of them, then the price and quality reflects that. We work very well with many local contractors because of our experience. Furthermore, our construction experience gives us the edge in commissioning and air balance of HVAC and Mechanical Systems.

We provide complete design services ranging from strictly engineering to only providing construction administration and on many projects we provide both. As part of our overall package, we have the capabilities to provide scheduling, estimating, construction administration, project closeout, and bidding. Another client requested service is complete design coordination where Absolute Engineering is the lead project manager of the design team. This innovative service came about due to the 24+ years of experience in the construction and engineering trade that Mitch has, providing engineering, project management, and actual field construction. Absolute Engineering also has a strong network with other quality architectural and engineering firms which enables us to provide a complete plan and specification package ready for bid and/or construction.

We provide mechanical and electrical engineering design services in the following areas of business: Medical, Dental, Education, Food Processing, Wineries, Manufacturing Plants, Office Buildings, Churches, Retail Malls, Retirement Centers, Nursing Homes, Motels/Hotels, Apartment Complexes, Government and Private Building Systems, Restaurants, Gyms, Recreation Centers, and Post Offices.
Our mechanical engineering and engineering design services include: HVAC systems, plumbing systems, process waste systems, compressed air systems, steam systems, chilled water systems, hydronic heat systems, DDC controls, smoke removal systems, and refrigeration room exhaust systems.
Our electrical engineering design services include: power distribution, interior and exterior lighting design, as well as fire alarm, nurse call, security, interior emergency power, and general power systems.
We also perform building commissioning, air and water balances, and construction administration.
We work with state regulatory agencies such as the Department of Health (DOH) and the Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) for code compliance submittals.
